Stamps, AR. I'm talking about homemade hamburger gravy cooking made by the matriarch of this family run cafe. Miss Sue was serious and fair with her place. It was like none other I’ve been in. True and untarnished. You walked thru the kitchen for the bathroom and washed your hands in a sink just outside the door. Miss Sue was cooking up fried green tomatoes because that’s what they serve here. There were two couples sharing the local gossip and man it was as juicy as the hamburger! I asked for a double burger so I could taste the meat. I didn’t realize they hand formed the patties and I soon discovered my mouth doesn’t unhinge making it difficult to wrap it around this thing. But, I made it. It was good too!
I was going to ask if you’ve ran into some fried green tomaters yet. 🤤
